We buy in person, from people in Singapore, one piece at a time. That is slower than importing pallets, and it is the reason we can tell you where a bag came from.

worth knowing

Canvas ages differently to leather
Coated canvas takes corner wear and keeps its shape. Untreated vachetta darkens and will never go back. Neither is damage. Both are priced in, and both are shown in the photographs rather than described around.

A full set is worth roughly a tenth
Box, dust bag, card and receipt add about ten per cent to what a piece sells for, and rather more to how quickly it sells. We list what is present and never imply what is not.

Grade B+ is not a warning
It means honest use and a price that reflects it. A B+ bag from a house that made it properly will outlast an A-grade bag from one that did not. If something is structurally wrong we do not grade it, we decline it.

Hardware is the tell
Plating wears at the corners and on the feet first. Those two places are in the slider on every bag, close, because they are where a photograph is usually cropped to hide something.

Long wallets, compact folds, chain pouches and phone holders. The way most people buy their first piece from a house, and the way most people find this shop.
Small leather goods take the hardest life of anything we sell, so the slider on each one opens the interior. That is where the wear actually is.

Two pieces above carry a visible marker where the house name would be, because it cannot be read from any photograph in the album. On a live site they would be confirmed with Hannah before listing, never guessed. That is the same rule the authentication page describes, applied to ourselves.

Anyone can photograph a bag well. The only question that matters in resale is whether the person selling it would be able to tell if it were fake, and whether they would tell you.
At this magnificationStitch count, plating and grain are evidence rather than decoration. This is the scale the checks are actually done at.

Nothing is listed until all five pass. There is no partial pass and no benefit of the doubt, because the cost of being wrong once is the whole business.
Hannah has been buying and selling these bags for three years. That is long enough to have handled hundreds of the same models, which is the only thing that genuinely trains the eye. Where a piece is unusual, rare, or simply does not feel right, it goes to a paid third-party authenticator before it is sold, at our cost.

Hardware
Weight in the hand first, then the stamping. Genuine hardware is heavier than it looks and the lettering is struck, not printed. Plating that has worn through to a yellow base rather than a white one is the common tell.

Stitch count and angle
Every house has a count per inch and an angle it holds at the corners. Counterfeits are made on faster machines and the count drifts. Corners are where it shows first.

Date code against leather
A code is easy to fake. A code that matches the leather, the hardware finish and the lining of the year it claims is much harder. The code alone proves nothing and is not treated as proof.

Lining, glazing, edge paint
The three things a factory copying a bag has least reason to get right, because a buyer looking at a photograph never sees them. Which is exactly why they are checked.

Smell
It sounds unserious. It catches more than any of the others. Tanned leather, adhesive and synthetic coating all smell specific, and a copy usually smells of solvent for months.

Then, the grade
Only once a piece has passed is it graded and priced. Condition is assessed after authenticity, never alongside it, so that a beautiful fake never gets a flattering grade on its way through.

Most resale grading is generous, because a generous grade sells faster. Ours runs one step below the market norm on purpose. A customer who opens the box and finds it better than described comes back.
A+As new
Unworn or worn once or twice. No visible wear anywhere, including the feet and the underside of the hardware. Full set present.
AExcellent
Light use, visible only on close inspection and photographed where it exists. No structural fault, no odour, no repairs.
B+Good, honest use
Corner rub, plating wear or interior marks that a person will notice. Everything functions. Priced for it, and shown in the slider.
BWell used
Significant wear, possibly a professional repair, always disclosed with what was done and by whom.
No gradeDeclined
Structural damage, an unrecorded repair, or anything that fails a check. Not graded, not priced, not sold. Returned to the owner with the reason.

What happens if I have it checked elsewhere and it fails?
Full refund, and we pay the authentication fee as well. That offer stands for fourteen days from purchase and applies to any paid authentication service. We would also want to see the report, because if we have made a mistake we need to know how.
Do you issue a certificate?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. A certificate issued by the shop selling you the bag is worth exactly as much as the shop's word, which is what you were relying on anyway. What we give you instead is the fourteen day re-check above, which costs us money if we are wrong and a certificate never does.
Where do the bags come from?
Individuals in Singapore, one piece at a time, either bought outright or taken on consignment. We do not buy job lots and we do not import unseen. It is a slower way to build stock and it is the reason we can tell you a bag's history rather than guess at it.
Can I see the piece before I commit to anything?
That is the only way this works. Nothing is sold through this website. You message about a piece, we put it aside, and you look at it in the shop with the checks explained in front of you before any money changes hands.
You are not an authorised dealer. Is this legal?
Yes. Reselling a genuine item you own is lawful, and naming the house that made it is permitted so long as nobody is led to think we are connected to them. We are an independent reseller, we say so on every page, and we have no affiliation with any of the houses whose pieces we carry.

Photograph it
Front, interior, and the date code or serial if you can find it. Daylight, no filter. Send them on WhatsApp. If you cannot find the code, send what you have and we will tell you where to look.

Get a range, same day
You get a range rather than a single figure, because condition decides the rest and a photograph cannot settle it. The range is honest: the final number lands inside it unless we find something the photographs did not show.

Bring it in
Fifteen minutes at the shop. The five checks, in front of you, with the reasons said out loud. You will know more about your own bag afterwards than you did walking in.
04
Choose how you are paid
Outright, and you leave with the money. Or consignment, where it sells at a higher price and you are paid after. Both figures are put in front of you together so you can see exactly what the choice costs.

We do not take anything we cannot authenticate to our own satisfaction, anything with an undisclosed repair, or anything a customs or police matter attaches to. We will also say no to a piece that is genuine but will not sell here, and we will tell you where it probably will.
Hermes is taken by appointment only, because the checks take longer and need to be done unhurried.

Common questions
I do not have the box or the receipt. Can I still sell it?
Yes. Most pieces we buy arrive without either. It affects the figure by roughly ten per cent, not whether we are interested. What matters far more is the condition of the corners, the hardware and the interior.
How long does consignment usually take?
Popular models in good condition typically move within two to four weeks. Unusual colours, very large sizes and seasonal pieces take considerably longer. We will tell you which one yours is before you commit, rather than after.
What if you think my bag is not genuine?
We tell you, in person, and we show you what we are looking at and why. We will not buy it and we will not list it. You take it away with you. We do not report anyone, and we do not keep a piece we have declined.
Can you come to me?

Hannah Truong Thi My Leong started the way most people in this trade do: selling her own bags, then bags for friends who trusted her eye more than their own.
Three years and seventeen thousand followers later it is a business with a shop, a register and a UEN, and the way it works has not changed. Somebody brings in a bag. It gets checked properly. It gets photographed as it is. Somebody else comes to look at it, holds it, and knows exactly what they are getting.
Most of what is written on this site is only interesting because it is dull: the same five checks, the same harsh grade, the same honest photograph, every time. In a trade where the whole risk sits on the buyer, dull is the entire product.

Tell us when you are coming and it will be on the counter, out of the cabinet, when you arrive. No deposit, no commitment.

Decide in person
Hold it, open it, look at the hardware under the light. If it is right, you buy it at the shop. If it is not, that is a perfectly good outcome and nobody will push you.
This is deliberately the whole flow. There is no cart, no checkout and no online payment, because there is no payment system set up and a website should not promise one. If Hannah later wants to sell online, Wix Stores can be switched on behind the same enquiry buttons without redesigning a page.

Is everything on the site actually in the shop?
Yes. There is no warehouse and no drop-shipping. If it is on the site, it is on the shelf, and if it has sold it is marked sold rather than quietly removed, so you can see what moves and how fast.
Can you hold something for me?
Until the end of the next day, free, no deposit. Longer than that only with a deposit, because holding a one-of-one piece means turning other people away from it.
Can I buy without coming in?
Ask. For a customer who cannot travel we will send extra photographs and a short video, and arrange payment and delivery directly over WhatsApp. It is not the normal route and it is handled case by case. UNCONFIRMED: whether Hannah offers delivery, and on what terms
Can I part-exchange a bag against one of yours?
Yes, and it is usually the best value route if you are selling anyway, because the figure applied against a purchase is higher than the outright cash offer. Bring both and we will work it out at the counter.
